God has charge us to teach and build His knowledge through the Word of God (Logos and Rhema) to provide you and your family with life direction especially during life’s struggles. About Us

New Beginnings Worship Center – Granite Falls (NBWC) started as a new church plant to model the Book of Acts in the Holy Bible. God placed this mantel upon Apostle L’Tanya C. Perry to lead God’s people out of bondage of the religious spirit to the promise land to worship and learn how to operate in the Kingdom of God here on earth. On September 11, 2011, NBWC held their first worship service. As they build the ministry from the ground up, we have the privilege to hear from God in every aspect of the ministry. NBWC is a place where ALL people are welcome to join in together in unity. NBWC is not just a worship center, we are an apostolic and prophetic ministry. This ministry is building and strengthening in the five-fold ministry.

In addition to the vision God has given Apostle L’Tanya C. Perry to pastor NBWC, she is also called to plant other churches and help pastors build their ministries. With God’s supernatural favor and grace, NBWC will change the atmosphere of the world to live in the Kingdom of God!

Statement of Beliefs

WE BELIEVE…that the Holy Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is inerrant in the original writings (2Timothy 3:16-17).

WE BELIEVE…that there is only ONE true and living God existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1-3, John 10:30; John 15:26; John 16:13; 1 John 4:15).

WE BELIEVE…that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world. Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father, Jesus Christ is the doorway to the Kingdom of God (Luke 1:26-33; John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 5:8).

WE BELIEVE…the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit releases power into the life of the believer by baptizing the believer into Jesus Christ and enabling the believer to exercise ruler ship & dominion in the earth (John 16:13; Acts 1:4-8).

WE BELIEVE…the Kingdom of God is God’s sovereign rule & reign in the earth as it is in Heaven; it is the manifestation of the King’s (Jesus Christ) dominion through the church (Matthew 6:9-10; Isaiah 9:6-7).

WE BELIEVE…humankind was created in the image of God, and was chosen by God to bring the Kingdom of God to the earth as it is in Heaven (Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 115:16).

WE BELIEVE…that a person accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord & Savior through a confession of faith that Jesus is Lord and the belief in the heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8).

WE BELIEVE…in tithing to God (10% of any increase) and faithfully sowing offerings (Malachi 3:8-12; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).

WE BELIEVE…water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19).

WE BELIEVE…in the regular serving of communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross (1 Corinthians 11:17-34).

Information about Apostle Perry

Apostle L’Tanya C. Perry is truly walking in her apostolic anointing as the planter of New Beginnings Worship Center in Hudson, NC. God sent Apostle Perry to the Western North Carolina region, July 2009 as a local United Methodist’s pastor appointed to Burgess Chapel United Methodist Church in Granite Falls, NC. She was the first African American woman pastor in Granite Falls. As an obedient and faithful servant of God, Apostle Perry led a core team to start up New Beginnings Worship Center September 11, 2011. Two years later after equipping the core team, Apostle Perry is currently planning an official launch of the ministry. In addition to launching the church, New Beginnings Worship Training Center is being established to assist and support pastors and leaders in their ministries’ efforts.

Apostle Perry was called into the ministry in 1999. She received her licensed to be a United Methodist pastor in 2009. Just recently, September 11, 2013, she was ordained under the Tent Ministry, a group of pastors under the leadership of Bishop Terrell L. Murphy, a native of Granite Falls, the Senior Pastor of Life Center International, Charlotte, NC. In 2022, Apostle Perry had her formal Apostle Affirmation service however her apostolic anointing was developing in her since childhood. Apostle Perry is currently writing books while working on her PhD in Business Administration Specializing in Organizational Leadership. She completed her Master of Divinity at Hood Theological Seminary: May 2013. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; May 2000, with a major in Management Information Systems. She has over 6 years in the banking and brokerage industry. She’s been an entrepreneur for over 16 years leading Perry’s Accounting and Tax service, specializing in tax, accounting and bookkeeping.

At the end of the day, Apostle Perry’s love is for her family. She is a devoted wife of 25 years to Kelvin Perry, Sr. They have two children, Alexus and KJ.
